The normal wireless connection between the Judges Station and the Master is used to collect the data. The signs are all connected to the Master Computer via spliters. Since most Big Dot Signs can be individually addressed, the sign data is sent to all signs and only the corresponding sign (vault, bars,...) accepts it and responds by displaying the score. This new function works with addressable signs only.
The age is changed from 2 positions numeric to 3 position Alphanumeric. Valid ages in the new scheme are 9, 9A, 10, 10A, 10B, JRA, SRA, etc. The number of age ranges for each level is expanded from 5 to 10.
State Teams are implemented by using only the first two characters of the team name to designate the commpetition team. For example: even the team designatiions of NC SALEM and NC INTERNATIONAL will be on the same competitiion team when this is implemented.
