The single PC license (manual entry) of NET-SCORE is $ 175.00.
PC's
The PC's can be any IBM compatible 486 or higher with a serial (com) port. The serial
port is used to connect the electronic displays. The operating system can be Windows 95 or
higher.
PRINTER
Any DOS capable printer will work with NET-SCORE.
NETWORK
The priced system uses Linksys wireless access PC cards,
however; NET-SCORE will work with any
network (wired or wireless) for IBM compatible PC's.
ELECTRONIC DISPLAYS
The display message can be customized to display gymnast number and score only
(numeric - double wide) or to also display combinations of number, name, team, event,
start value and individual judges score (alphabetic). The displays are single line. They
are connected to the PC's by standard 3 line telephone wire.
Two displays are available. They are manufactured by Adaptive Micro Systems. The BETA-BRITE electronic displays are available from most warehouse buying clubs. They cost approximately $150.00 each and provide good viewing up to 150 feet in numeric mode (75 feet for alphabetic). ALPHA BIG DOT displays are available from NET-SCORE for $760.00 each. They provide good viewing up to 400 feet in numeric mode (200 feet for alphabetic).
Additional displays can be attached to the scorers PC and used to display leader board results (Team Scores, All-Around scores, advertisements, messages, etc.).
Multiple displays can be attached to each PC for 360 degree viewing.
MODULAR ADAPTERS
Modular adapters attach the electronic display to a PC via the serial port and 3 line
telephone wire. They are available from NET-SCORE for $30.00 each.
